Ambassador Bilal Hayee visited Linnaeus University (Linnéuniversitetet) today for an engaging and interactive session with a distinguished delegation comprising representatives from five Pakistani universities participating in the Mid-Term Meeting of the EU-funded RAPID project under Erasmus+ CBHE. Led by IBA Sukkur, the RAPID project is a collaboration between ten institutions, including three European partners and seven from Pakistan, aimed at strengthening online education in Pakistan. The European partners include Linnaeus University (Sweden), NTNU (Norway), and Sapienza University (Italy), alongside Pakistani universities and the Higher Education Commission.
Discussions focused on enhancing educational cooperation between Pakistani and Swedish institutions, with a special emphasis on potential avenues for student and faculty exchanges. This dialogue represents a crucial step in reinforcing the strong ties between Pakistan and Sweden, particularly in the realm of higher education.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Stockholm remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster deeper academic linkages between the two nations.
